The Senior Citizen Council of Cobb County (SCC) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to enriching the lives of adults over 55 in Cobb County, Georgia.

Established in 1972, we are a passionate group of volunteers working to ensure Cobb seniors feel connected, informed, and empowered.
Here's how we make a difference:

CONNECTION: We foster a sense of community through informative website updates, a monthly e-BULLETIN and strong social media presence.
INFORMATION: Our website provides valuable resources on topics like healthcare, transportation, Medicare, downsizing and patient advocacy. We also host educational programs with experts on issues relevant to Cobb seniors.
ADVOCACY: We champion senior concerns by communicating these issues to local and state government representatives, ensuring Cobb seniors' voices are heard.

As a 100% volunteer organization, we depend on the generosity of this community to do our work. One issue we feel most strongly about is senior food insecurity right here in Cobb County. Too many of our neighbors over 55 face real uncertainty about where their next meal is coming from.

The Born to Be a Senior campaign exists to change that. Proceeds support meal programs through our partnerships with Cobb Senior Services, MUST Ministries, and others.

Small purchases. Real meals. Real impact for seniors in Cobb County.
