This event held on June 2, 2023 at the Acworth Community Center was our second successful expo featuring a plethora a free or low cost services to older adults in Cobb County. Our Frist was held in Marietta in October 2022.
Our Expos are a little different in that:
-They are not a come one coma all bazaar type of event. We only invite those who can provide services for little or no cost. (Services can be covered by Medicare, grants, other insurances, charities, government, foundations, etc.) or at a significant discount.
-They are more intimate - only about 30 vendors (instead of 100) for safety purposes and to allow easier discussions between vendors and attendees.
- They attract at least 200 people over the age of 55. June 2023’s event had over 400 registrants.
- They are budge friendly. Free entry for attendees and vendor tables are under $100.
